Examples

The canonical examples are a task-oriented cookbook: start with what you want to do, then inspect the smallest executable program that demonstrates it.

Unlike the Tutorials, this section is not a linear course. Its generated catalog follows the task mapping maintained by the exact Protos revision recorded in protos-source.lock.json.

  • Task catalog — every canonical cookbook task and its executable .protos source.
  • Tutorials — use these instead when you want a progressive learning path.
  • Language reference — normative language authority.

Each generated program page preserves the canonical source body and links back to the exact immutable Protos revision used to build this website.

Examples are explanatory and non-normative. If an example conflicts with the applicable specification, the specification wins.
